2024 CX-90 Specs: The fight of three-row family SUVs just got a little more exciting, as Mazda unveiled the all-new 2024 CX-90 today, The Honda Pilot in the Toyota Highlander began to grow lazy, and it was only a matter of time before someone came along to shake them awake.

Two Engine Options
The new CX90 comes with two engine options. The first is a 3.3-liter inline six-cylinder turbocharged engine named E-sky Active, and it also includes M Hybrid Boost, Mazda’s term for a mild hybrid system.
Most Horsepower & Torque
This engine produces the most horsepower and torque of any mass-produced gasoline engine. It boasts 369 pound-feet of torque and 340 horsepower.

Trademark Driving Performance
Not to mention that the 690 is developed on an entirely new Mazda platform with a front engine, and rear-wheel drive bias to increase Mazda’s trademark driving performance.
Plug-in Hybrid Powertrain

The second option is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with a plug-in hybrid powertrain, which produces 323 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque.
35 Miles of all-electric Driving Range
You have a 17.8-kilowatt lithium-ion battery pack that should offer you 35 miles of all-electric driving range on a full charge and a total range of close to 500 miles.

All-new 8-speed Automatic
And, regardless of whatever CX-90 you choose, both are paired with an all-new 8-speed automatic transmission; once again, these numbers do not compete with mass-market car brands.
The CX90 is aimed squarely at the luxury market, and Mazda has always been that brand that falls between the mass market and luxury.
