Tesla appears to be changing up its global leadership by appointing a prominent Chinese official to the top position in the United States.

According to insiders familiar with the situation, Tesla’s CEO of China, Tom Zhu, has taken over responsibility for sales, service, and delivery in North America, which is actually fantastic news.

This could vastly improve Tesla’s sales experience in the United States while also reducing waste.

Electrek reported last month on a report that Zhu, the CEO of Tesla China, would replacing Musk as CEO of Tesla.

Electrek dismissed concerns about the allegation because it originated from a Chinese outlet that had recently been found guilty of distributing false information about Tesla in China and was required to compensate the business.

In recent weeks, it has also been claimed that he has stood down as the official representative of Tesla’s China company and that he is being groomed for a larger role in the United States.
